At Two Birdees, we’re all about helping families build more sustainable lives without breaking the bank. That’s why we strive to bring you the best in organic infant clothing, combing infant clothing stores and stylists the world over to find great stuff for kids that’s ethically sourced.
We love all our green brands, but some really shine in terms of style and creative approaches to organic materials. Here’s a roundup of our favorite eco-friendly sources for clothes, toys and accessories.
1. Kickee Pants
Kickee Pants is recognized in infant/newborn clothing stores the world over as a leader in bamboo infant clothing, and for good reason. Their baby pants, onesies and other products are made of 95% viscose fabric from bamboo. This unique material allows for amazing breathability. In addition, Kickee Pants baby clothes naturally resist static and do not irritate most common skin allergies, helping your baby stay comfortable and cool.

Huxbaby was founded on “mini-malist” philosophy. That’s a clever way of saying that they produce quality kids’ clothes without all the bells and whistles; just simple lines and eye-catching graphics, all made with 100% organic cotton. Huxbaby’s cotton baby clothes will have your little one looking trendy and environmentally aware at the same time.
3. Kissy Kissy
This brand has some seriously adorable organic cotton baby clothes, including footies, body suits and hoodies. But for us, the biggest draw of Kissy Kissy is their use of Pima cotton. This Peruvian cotton tests at nearly 40% stronger than regular cotton, making it a good choice for even the most intrepid crawlers and mess-makers. Strong doesn’t mean scratchy, either: the fabric is amazingly soft and has a slight shine, almost like silk. Definitely worth a look.
4. Finn + Emma
From apparel like bandana bibs, darling printed shorts and muslin swaddle blankets to wooden rattles and dangling stroller toys, Finn + Emma has a little something for every little someone. Their designs all keep safety and sustainability at the forefront. The rattles are untreated Indian hardwood filled with organic dried beans. Their adorable lovies combine a blanket with a plush toy’s head for a toy that pulls double duty during naptime. Made of 100% organic cotton stuffed with sheep’s wool, these lovies are both eco-friendly and aww-inducing.
5. Apple Park
Given how often toys and blankets end up in babies’ mouths, we all want to be sure they are as non-toxic and organic as they can be. Luckily, Apple Park’s line of rattles, blankies and plush toys are enough to put your mind at ease. Their infant soft blocks and plushies are made of 100% organic cotton outside and natural corn fiber inside, so they are hypoallergenic (and super cute). Apple Park’s line of 14-inch plush toys won Dr. Toy’s Best Vacation Toy Award and Best Green Product Award. It doesn’t get much greener than that!
